New CD Kickstarter!

The Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra is looking to record its third CD, Elite Syncopations: Favorites from the Ragtime Era, and we need your help to make it happen!

After successfully crowdfunding our second CD, Step With Pep, we’re now turning back to our roots in Ragtime, performing an album of favorites featuring Scott Joplin and the creators of America’s first popular music. We’ll feature selections such as Irving Berlin’s Alexander’s Ragtime Band, Scott Joplin’s The Entertainer, Wall Street Rag, and Elite Syncopations, marches by John Philip Sousa, alongside novelties, popular songs, waltzes, classic rags, and more. Featured will be PRSO’s singer Bill Edwards, trombonist Corey Sansolo, and others.

But we need your help to make this a reality!

PRSO has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help raise $4000, which is the remaining money necessary to pay for our recording sessions, editing, mastering, and CD printing costs. This last hump is the final barrier between making this project a reality. Your support is greatly appreciated, and we’re offering rewards for your support, such as copies of the finished CD, credit in the CD liner notes, even a PRSO concert in your home!
