Over the past 15 years, the Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra (PRSO) has explored a vast ocean of American popular music, working with a stunning collection of over 15,000 original musical scores from the 1880s through the 1920s. On this, Peacherine's 8th recording, we record our favorites, beloved by both the musicians and our audiences. These pieces often reappear in our live shows or in the scores of silent films we accompany each year. This album features many of those cherished selections, and we hope you can feel the energy and excitement we experience when we play them for you.
